Carmen Bowman has been blessed to work as an activity director, CO state surveyor (inspector), CMS federal surveyor and now consultant and educator in the field of long term care. Carmen is part of the national culture change movement to change the institutional culture of nursing homes and assisted livings and co-founded the Colorado Culture Change Coalition. She and her daughter Ellie have built relationships with the beautiful old people who live at a local nursing home for 7 years and love encouraging others to consider visiting older people around them as a very doable ministry in our own backyard.
